When the body receives water regularly, in right quantities and equal volumes throughout the day, it does not need to store it, meaning that you do not swell. It is very important to keep water balance from the first day of your keto diet. Until you adjust the water balance, things will go very slowly or even stop. No weight improvement and swelling are often associated with failure to follow this rule. The correct water regime favours the balance of electrolytes in your body and it is the key to quick and high-quality adaptation! Rule number one. Water should enter the body evenly throughout the day! You don’t need to drink more than 300-350 ml of water per hour! You get only a diuretic effect in this way! We shall water the body like a flower, with little portions! Rule number two. You should drink approximately the same amount of water every day so that the body gets used to it and stops storing water in the form of swelling. Rule number three. All of you should drink the minimum of 1.8 – 2.2 liters of clean water per day! If your weight is more than 80 kg, then your minimum is 2.5 liters of water per day! This is one of the keys to success!
